Dear ISC20C members, with great pleasure, we announce that the 2026 ISC20C Annual General Meeting & Symposium will take place in Kuching, Sarawak (Malaysia) on the 16th october 2026.
The event is conceived in the framework of the ICOMOS 22nd General Assembly (17–24 October 2026), so it will be a great opportunity to meet in person and take part in the broader GA programme of visits, workshops and discussions.
Preliminary information about the programme is included in the poster, which features the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building, a distinctive nine-pointed, star-shaped landmark in Kuching. The city’s name, by the way, is often linked to the Malay word for “cat” (kucing).
