ISC20C is an interdisciplinary committee that recognizes the diversity of regional and cultural expression in Twentieth Century Heritage.

The Committee has adopted minimum Criteria for Admission and a transparent and well understood methodology for assessing and verifying individual competencies and expertise of applicants as outlined below.

If self nominated, two supporting letters of recommendation from ICOMOS members who know the nominee are needed. If nominated by the National Committee or International Scientific Committee, a letter of nomination by the respective Committee to which the nominee belongs is required.

In addition, nominees are to submit a letter of interest indicating proposed areas of contribution to ISC20C’s triennial plan activities and a short CV.

Applications will be assessed by the Committee’s Secretary General and Membership Secretary, and recommendations made to the ISC20C Bureau for final decision.

In the event of an application for membership being refused by ISC20C, an applicant shall have a right of appeal to the ICOMOS Board (Article 14(b) ICOMOS Statutes).

If you wish to become a member of ISC20C, you must first become an Individual member of your ICOMOS National Committee Organization. Apply for membership and find more information through the ‘Join ICOMOS’ link below.
