World Heritage Advisory
The mission of this initiative is to fulfil the Committee’s role and responsibility to provide expert advice to the ICOMOS Secretariat and World Heritage Center on issues relating to the conservation of twentieth century heritage generally, and to the annual world heritage nomination and inscription processes both operationally and strategically.
Opportunities for Member Engagement with this Committee:
• Expert members are identified to provide input to desk and in person nomination assessments.
• There may be potential for engaging EPs in the WH nomination/assessment process dependent on the Secretariat policy.
