Samson Faboye is a doctoral candidate at the Urban and Regional Planning Department, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria and a Master of Urban Studies (With a Speciality in urban Politics and Governance) Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a member of ICOMOS Nigeria and currently serves as coordinator for the EPWG of ICOMOS Nigeria. His research interests revolve around Architectural Heritage Conservation, Development, urban governance and urban Policy.
