Alberte holds a master’s degree from Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark, specialising in Architectural Heritage and Restoration. Currently, she is enrolled as a PhD fellow at Aarhus School of Architecture, exploring the potentials and challenges related to the preservation and transformation of younger industrial heritage in Denmark. The project examines the materiality of industrial heritage with a particular focus on heritage values, aiming to (re)conceptualise and broaden their understanding in light of contemporary demands for resource responsibility in architectural practice and heritage management, in the context of the Anthropocene. In addition, she has a few years of experience as a practising architect working with 20th-century heritage.
