Organised by the International Scientific Committee on 20th Century Heritage in cooperation with ICOMOS Malaysia, this year’s gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and reflect on the future of 20th-century heritage in a rapidly changing world.

Call for Abstracts (Deadline Extended)
We are pleased to share that the Call for Abstracts for the Annual Colloquium remains open, with the submission deadline extended to 15 July 2026.
We warmly invite abstracts that engage with 20th-century heritage and related themes, including climate resilience, adaptation, mitigation, living heritage, social values, and new approaches to conservation and interpretation.

Theme: Adaptive Futures: Living with 20th-Century Heritage in a Changing World

Time: 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
Venue: Borneo Cultures Museum, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts should be 250–300 words.
Accepted presentations will be 12 minutes in length, followed by a discussion.
